Our History

In December 2001, God spoke to Pastor Tony and told him that in 2003 he would go to Las Vegas NV and start a church. In April 2003, God spoke to Pastor Tony again and told him to name the church “Destined for Glory World Outreach Ministries.” In July 2003, Pastor Tony and his wife First Lady Kathy came to Las Vegas to be one of the guest ministers at a month-long tent revival. It was during that time that God spoke to him and told him it was time to start the church.

Pastor Tony and Lady Kathy held their first inception service on August 3, 2003, at the Hampton Inn, in Las Vegas, with 70 people in attendance. They continued to hold weekly worship services at the hotel for four months. By this time, the weekly attendance had grown close to 90 people. In October 2003, Pastor Tony and Lady Kathy, along with their children, officially became residents of Las Vegas, NV. In December 2003, God moved in a mighty way for our church. Pastor Tony and his congregation were able to move into their new building of over 9,000 square feet located at 3155 East Patrick Ln, suites 3, 4, 5 and 6, where they held weekly worship services for five years.

The ministry reorganized and moved to 3565 East Post Rd. Suite 110, in the Spring of 2009. God blessed the ministry as it continued to grow and impressed upon Pastor Tony’s heart to open a second location on the north side of town. In the summer of 2009, Destined For Glory’s north location welcomed congregants to Silver Mesa Recreation Center at 4025 Allen Ln. In September 2010, the ministry experienced the death and recovery of Pastor Tony following a fatal car accident, and entered into a spiritual transition. Pastor Tony experienced a lengthy recovery, causing him to be away from the ministry for an extended time. This in turn led to closing the doors on the second location. In 2013, Destined for Glory celebrated 10 years of ministry at its current location, 6037 South Rainbow Blvd., Suite 100.

Destined For Glory is a ministry that is based on love and hospitality, and operates under the prophetic unction of the Holy Spirit through miracle signs and wonders. We are a church that believes in unity. Our motto is “Working towards the vision in one accord, one thought, one language, and one action.” We are faithfully looking forward to the next move of God, as we are truly Destined for Glory!
